Hey, I've just returned from an amazing 6 months in Russia and have one question: When I went there I originally had a 3 months IIRC students visa that got prolonged somewhere in September. Then I got this green visa for the rest, that wasn't just like the first one put on the next page in the passport, it just lay in there loosely. Now my question is if I have to keep this visa (which is bigger than the passport and therefore quite unhandy) in my passport at all times or if it's just enough when I store it at home with other travel documents? I intend to go back to Russia very soon and wouldn't want to encounter any troubles not having everything I need with me... Thanks in advance!

I find that pockets are very handy for carrying things of all shapes and sizes. Unless of course it's too large and unweidy even for your pocket, in which case . . . I just don't know. . . .
