When I'm checking the forum for new posts, I mostly use the search function. Sometimes I check the folders themselves. Often I am confronted with threads that start with titles like 'Help! Please!' or 'My opinion'. In almost half the cases it is virtually impossible for me to get an idea what the actual subject of a thread will be, without opening it. It doesn't matter too much for myself (As mod I open every post and mostly just ignore it when it looks ok), but I think it doesn't really help those people that are trying to find information in the forum. Or even the ones that just check a folder for new discussions. I think it would be a great improvement if we tried to match the titles we give to our new treads with their actual content....
