I went once before last summer, so I have some experience. I'd like to meet up with one or more other guys interested in adventures. I'm thinking about going to Moscow and St. Petersburg but am open to other ideas. -Melquiadez

paul Guest	Posted: Thu Jul 10, 2003 2:44 am    Post subject: baikal hey melquiadez, i am a a 27 year old kansas boy with an itch for asia. my plan of attack is to fly to europe, head north to moscow, hop the trans-siberian to irkutsk, and then do some hiking and camping around lake baikal. long term plans are to end up in thailand. my budget is really tight, so camping is a must, at least some of the time. i will be going to san francisco late july or early august and would love to meet you. where do you live? paul

I am from Houston, TX but working in Nigeria at a LNG plant. My company pays for my ticket wherever I want to go so I decided to go there instead of Houston this trip. I got the lonely plant guide book which gives very good reference as to where to stay and what train to take. might want to check it out. If anyone interested let me know so I will meet up with you'll at Moscow and go to St.Petersburg. Also I heard Kiev is a good place to go to know the history. send me an email.
