has anyone tried it (as advertised on this site)?

I have recently sent two emails regarding the homestay in Gremyachinsk village in september (Buryatia) with the Gurov family.

Unfortunately have not received any reply. Do you know if the mails are processsed or if there is a problem?

Thanks and regards,

Hi, the Gurov family are the people we met when we traveled to Baikal at 2002. We just asked them if they are ok accommodating foreigners (the visitors of this site) and they said OK. We don't want to post their address here, but if you can find somebody speaking Russian, you can contact them by phone.

To arrange the homestay, please, call the host: Gurova Galina Ivanovna. Her
phone number is +7 30144 58-8-39 (or if you dial from inside Russia: 8 wait
for a tone 30144 58839) and ask her if the room is available and how much it
would cost. I believe it is available, but it's just good to arrange
everything beforehand, that she expects you to come (you could also just
come by, but maybe it's not very polite).
