Hi all, I will be starting study in Novosibirsk on the 1st of September and would like to travel from Moscow to Novosibirsk by train, leaving on the 30th of August. As this is high-season, will there be any difficulty buying tickets at the station on the same day, or should I pre-book? -Tom

From what I understand, there is usually a long wait to purchase train tickets, and during peak times your desired departure may be unavailable. I would recommend advance purchase to save time.
