waytorussia Frequent Guest Joined: 17 Mar 2010 Posts: 14	Posted: Tue Jan 21, 2003 10:57 pm    Post subject: from St. Petersburg to Moscow Hi, If you mean what cities and places you could see on the way, I would recommend to take electrichka (suburban train) from St. Pete to Novgorod (3 hours, costs about 150 R - $5), stay there for one or two nights (there's a guide to Novgorod on our site -- it's a very nice, calm town with a real Russian feel). Then you could take a train from Novgorod to Moscow. I advise to buy all tickets in advance, like that you won't have any hassles while you travel. Thanks Dmitri WayToRussia.Net team [/i]

It was a fantastic city that's easy to walk in. Get a bus or taxi out to the Yurev Monastery and Museum of Wooden Architecture. Don't miss this one! -- Sandra
