Hi,

If you mean what cities and places you could see on the way, I would recommend to take electrichka (suburban train) from St. Pete to Novgorod (3 hours, costs about 150 R - $5), stay there for one or two nights (there's a guide to Novgorod on our site -- it's a very nice, calm town with a real Russian feel). Then you could take a train from Novgorod to Moscow. I advise to buy all tickets in advance, like that you won't have any hassles while you travel.

Thanks
Dmitri

Absolutely visit Novgorod between St. Petersburg and Moscow. It was a fantastic city that's easy to walk in. Get a bus or taxi out to the Yurev Monastery and Museum of Wooden Architecture. Don't miss this one! -- Sandra
