I have obtained visa support directly from a hostel in St. Petersburg. Looking at the visa pplication form (for US citizens, to be sent to UK consulate), I am absolutely dumbfounded. Aside from the fact that no space is left to fill things out (eg 21 characters to list an address and phone number), many questions confuse me. Any help would be ever so appreciated!

Question 15) I assume my passport would be "tourist" as I'm just a general all-around US citizen?

Question 16) What would I put as the name and reference number of my tourist group if I've obtained my support work from a hostel rather than from a travel agency in the UK?

Question 26) My passport was once lost, but then found after I had reported it to the US Embassy and gotten a replacement. I never notified anyone of finding the other passport as it had already been cancelled. Should I say I lost a passport and put a note that it was later found? I'm not sure what they're getting at in this question and I don't want to put the wrong answer...

Question 29) My last two places of work were short term placements. I couldn't even remember my boss's names nor contact information. What do you reckon would be the best thing to put in these spaces? I was a student up until 1.5 years ago so am only now in my first "career job"

Thank you for any information you can provide. I'm so confused (and worried beyond belief about this!)

15: Yes, tourist.

16: Your visa support was issued by a tourist agency anyway. The invitation should have the name of the agency and its reference number. If you're unclear where it is, you can contact the hostel and ask them this information.

26: I think you should just put the information about your new passport.

29: No, I don't think it's necessary, just put the university and the current job place. If they ask you what you did in between, you can always say what you wrote, or that you were a freelancer.
