Hi,
The first issue, about your baby, is not complicated, I think. It's best to contact the Turkish embassy in Russia, you can find their contacts here: http://waytorussia.net/Moscow/EmbassiesMoscow.html
I think they will allow the baby to travel on your wife's Turkish passport or if she "puts" the baby's name into her Russian foreign passport (to do that, she should contact her local OVIR). Actually, even if the Turkish officials say it's OK to travel on the Turkish passport, I would put in the baby's name into the Russian foreign passport as well, because the baby will be traveling with mother. Also, according to the Russian laws, if a baby is traveling with only one parent, he needs a notary proof that another parent does not object his leaving the country. In your case this rule might not be applicable, as you are a Turkish citizen, but just in case I advise you to do this paper anyway at any notary, it's fast and cheap and will save you from a lot of hassle.
Regarding your visa: unfortunately, it's not easy. As a person married to a Russian woman, you can get a permit of stay, but only after you arrive to Russia on a private visa. This wouldn't be a problem, however, this permit of stay is a very bad thing: you have to get an exit visa every time you want to leave Russia -- imagine how much hassle that is.. I think the best for now is to wait until you are married for 3 years, after this period there's some kind of simplified process of acquiring the permit of stays for foreign nationals married to Russians, but you should inquire about it in a local police department or OVIR (the place where your wife got her foreign passport).
Until it's 3 years, you could be getting long-term 12-month business visas and renew them each year, it's the easiest option, as I see it. |
