I showed this website to my Russian colleague. He commented that the people managing this site probably work for the Russian government in some way.

Is there any truth to this comment?

Just look at the content in these forums, I doubt the Russian government is controlling this website. Laughing

None whatsoever. I had my chance to help disseminate Russian propaganda when they launched their silly, little TV channel and I turned it down, as fun as it could have been...

Nope. That is the most stupid statement I've ever heard about the site.

Yes, there's a department called The Ministry of Way to Russia, which is like an indie alternative to the main propaganda machine and I'm in charge of these stuff. Used to work in KGB before, but got a bit tired of bureacracy. Wanted something more informal... But still grateful to those guys for teaching me English!

I have to add to my chief's story that my colleague Mediashark and I play a double role in here: We are FSB-spies, who collect information about foreign infiltrations in the Russian tourist sector.

Actually, it pays much better than simply moderating this forum for peanuts and censoring questions like yours. The ministry of WayToRussia is not a high-wage organisation, so an extra job besides is mandatory.

If you have any more questions I refer you to our 'feedback form', which can be send to our boss, mr. Paranyushkin. He will be most happy to disallow you access to our resources.

For homeland security reasons, this topic is now closed. Razz Go play in another one.

Damn! What kind of unprofessionalism is this? Blowing our cover just because some scheming CIA idiot comes screaming about us working for Pootie-Poot. Damn you.
