Hi, and congratulations on a very helpful site!

I'm coming to Moscow on 1st May for a 5 day trip and hope you can help me with a few questions.

Will I have any problems exchanging Euros for Rubles - I guess I may have to do this at my hotel, as many places are closed 1st - 4th May, according to my friend in Russia. Will the hotel be able to exchange Euros, or should I just go for US Dollars?

Is there any problem taking my mobile phone into Russia? My network operator here in Norway says its okay, but I should declare this on a customs form or something. Is this really necessary? (Incidentally, I guess taking my MP3 player and digital camera will also be okay?)

I'm looking forward to my trip, which has been made much easier thanks to the great advice on your site.

All the best!
William.
