| Our travel plans just changed at the last minute and now we need to transfer from SVO to DMO airports during a 6-hour layover instead of staying within SVO. We do not have Russian transit visas as we were not originally planning to leave the airport, and with only 6 days to go before departure, I don't really want to fedex the visa to the consulate and risk not having my passport in hand by the time. I am told there is a means of getting a transit visa at the SVO airport on arrival, but the Aeroflot site does not have any information. Can anyone please advise whether getting a transit visa at SVO is possible and if so, how to do it? Many thanks, Kathryn |

You will need a transit visa if you arrive at SVO and depart from DMO, As far as I know they are not available on arrival. Try to get your flight changes so yo arrive at the same arport that you depart, you may not even get on your flight without the visa.
