Hello,
I just have one quick question that I would like answered. I am from Canada and I am very interested in traveling to Russia sometime in the near future; I have read some of the interviews this site has done with Russian people and noticed some of them have a prejudice against American people (Not to say that we Canadians don’t have a prejudice against Americans and most of the world). So what I want to know is what does the average Russian think of the average Canadian, because sometimes we have the reputation of being “America Junior” yuck. Mad

I think an average Russian doesn't know much about life in Canada, but might think it's somewhat similar to the US.
But if people from US are welcomed automatically with some kind of stereotypes, you will get less of it if you are from Canada.

Uday, some Russians like to play a sport called hockey. They know about Canada. And once you know about Canada and hockey, there isn't much else to know about. Just big empty space and cold winters.

Smile

Thanks for the link, but I got enough pirated Russian porn to last me a lifetime.

For the record, my comment was tongue in cheek, as I am from Canada. But, most people I spoke to knew nothing about us at all, while a small percentage did know about our hockey.
