Hi. Do non-business days (weekends) count as Visa days in Russia? I have recieved my confirmation invitation and voucher from the hostel I'm staying at, but have not purchased tickets out of Russia (I want to go by train to Tallinn) and I have not processed my visa yet.. I will fly into St. Petersburg on the 16th of Dec. and the train to Tallinn leaves on the 19th at 11pm at night. Therefore, it will turn midnight before I've crossed the border and I will really be in Russia until the 20th. But, my invitation states I will be out of Russia on the 19th. The 16th is a Thursday and the 19th is a Sunday. Would the safest bet be changing the date I leave Russia with the hostel I'm staying at or do you think I'll be okay with processing what I have? Any info you can provide is very helpful. Thank You!

Hi,
Yes they do count as visa validity days. Since you've got time up your sleeve, get a new invitation with the exit date changed to specify the 20th .

W/e's and public holidays don't count only for registering said Visa's with OVIR.
