I'm very sorry to post this poll, as we are open here about other people posting what they want, but recently I received quite a few negative PMs about Winston and his postings, as well as saw a lot of highly self-centered postings that he made (not relevant at all to this forum). So, I want to ask you all one question: Shall we ban Winston from this forum? We could do it for a few days just to let him cool off and come back to the normal state, or forever. Or not do it at all, if you wish.] Please, note, you need to be a registered user (and logged in) to vote.

Instead, I would suggest to the Administrator to delete any post with bad language. I don't like Winston because he is very disrepectful to the people of Russia, and other's, he has offended some who take his memoirs to seriously. He writes more negative than anyone, but has given, not many, but a few helpful helpful tidbits of information. Seldom ever can I read one of his post all the way through without stopping. Some members on the message board seem to think we should lay off our criticism of Winston, I don't agree. I feel that if he feels the need to write of his exploits which are sometimes ignorant, we have the right to reply critically, of course without the bad language. For example, if Winston wants to explain about his twisted sense of morality, then we have the write to chastize him. He is setting the precedent for debate for people who don't agree with him. At the same time I do respect his right to express his opinion. We can always elect to not read or reply to his rantings.

Imagine what would this forum look like if everyone begins to post such things about themselves, as what tv showed them or what newspaper mentioned them. Crap.

I have a Russian fiance ....and I belong to another support group that has helped me tremendously with doing the paperwork, culture differences, etc..that support group would NOT tolerate his post and would ban him from it immediately. Personally, I think he would do better on one of the "adult sites" where he could flex his sexual powers and exploits with people of his same mentality....he sent me a reply telling me he was looking for the love of his life...I sure as heck didn't find the love of my life over there on the streets or in a bar...and I just bet he won't either... His style is weird, his stories long and boring but there's no need to ban him. After all, everyone can ban him not by prohibiting him to write, but by ignoring his posts. I do it, and trust me it works. After all he gets most replies from all. Most of them are negative, but hey - if you take time to reply to his nonsences that means that there was something that you felt is worth replying to. Starting to ban people from this forum would, in my opinion, change this forum to politically correct discussion club. And who needs to read that. So let tolerate his right to write, and use your right not to read. And no one will be able to accuse anyone from censorship.
