Its members are offering homestays and the usual support (guide, drivers, cooking and what not). Thought I'd share. Philaret) are very interested in inviting serious decent foreign persons who want to learn about ancient Russian culture, orthodox traditions, and typical Russian nature. We can organize transfer from Saint-Petersburg to Pskov, where you can stay with Pskovian families and take tours of Pskov. We can show you many important sites including Saint Trinity Cathedral, Alexander Pushkhin’s grave, Pechory orthodox monastery. You can also experience traditional Russian weekend activities including picnics, banya, and nature. Expenses are in Russian living level (much less expensive than typical tourist trips to Russia).
