Hi,

I'll be visiting Moscow and Saint Petersburg between September 25 - October 8 to visit with my girlfriend who lives in a nearby city. Can anyone recommend a small, cozy, romantic hotel for a reasonable price? I'd love to find something with, say, 30-75 rooms (a small hotel) with prices under, say $300 USD. Or a Bed & Breakfast type establishment would be nice too. Any recommendations??

Thanks!
Bryan

For St Petersburg, definitely Casa Leto. See the review here:

For Moscow, the Golden Apple is a great hotel. See the review:

It's a little more expensive than you wanted to pay but Casa Leto is a little cheaper so it evens out.

Another suggestion for Moscow would be the newly renovated Savoy Hotel.I have not stayed there as yet, but every time I walk past it, I think about it. The Savoy is in a great location directly across the steet from the Kuznetsky Most metro station.
