- There is a desperate shortage of workers in just about any industry. Moscow's overheated economy has reached Tver.

I am a certfied yoga teacher, an ayurvedic practitioner.

- More good news: New Age is becoming fashionable too. From what I know there is only one rather whimpy New Age type store in Tver. AND NO INDIAN FOOD!!!! Talk to www.indianspices.ru ???? people. Perhaps you can set up an outlet. I'll be your first customer.

My wife is a masters in commerce. What kind of pay-outs can we expect.

- Here I can only guess that for yoga teaching and such the hourly rate will be in the neighbourhood of $8-10. Can't say anything about "commerce".

Is it legal to work part time?

- Technically, you need to have a permit. In practice, I have never heared of authorities being concerned about such permits or, rather, lack thereof, except for construction workers. As long as you are not part of the mass market you can probably disregard the many and numerous rules. Please don't quote me on that if you do get caught.

are there any work permits to be obtained? Kindly GUIDE.

- I personally would not bother. Never heared of eg. a private English teacher getting in trouble for not having one. The best advice I can give is don't read official rules. Russian work and business are over-regulated but these regulations are enforced losely. Are you qualified to teach English? I would expect there is more demand than supply for it in Tver now, sort of the way it was in Moscow 10 years ago.

Hope that helps.
