Both of us have British as well as Australian passports. Any advice on the best place to get a Mongolian visa - can it be done from home (Perth, Aus.) more than a month in advance? Total time in Mongolia unlikely to exceed a week. Should we obtain this visa on our British passports for cost reasons, and if so, in which country. I'll be in Tokyo prior to China, and my buddy will be passing through Hong Kong before heading to Shanghai/Beijing with me. Also on an aside, is the lead time for a Russian tourist visa 90 days - if so we'll be able to apply for that at home.. but from the looks of it the Mongolian visa costs an arm and a leg in Australia. May be better to do both in Japan / China. cheers! Chris
