Hi there!

I have had planned for several months a 4-week car trip starting and ending in UK, travelling from Calais through Belgium, Germany, Poland, the Baltics and ferry to Helsinki, crossing into Russia to visit St. Petersberg and Moscow, then returning through the Ukraine, Hungary, Austria, Germany. The trip was due to start on September 19th.

Unfortunately my travel partner has had to pull out. I have three options - cancel, do it alone, or find a like-minded person who would like to join me. My Russian is very limited, and so I think it would be very silly to do this alone, and I'm not happy about the security issues with travelling alone.
So I'm just writing this post to see if anyone is interested in joining me for all or part of the trip, or has any advice as to whether this can be done alone. I will be taking my own estate car and accomodation will be on a tight budget. Maybe someone would like to also take this trip up, either in their own separate car or as a passenger??? I appreciate any thoughts Laughing

Wow!

I have to say that sounds awesome. I wish I could come but I've already planned and booked my trip to Russia for later in the year, plus I live in Australia too hehe. It would be nice to do it in a continent crushing estate like a Mercedes-Benz E63 or something Wink think you can organise a "test-drive" for 4 weeks? Hope it all goes well if you do end up going.
