This is a serious question i attend a russian church because I could feel the holy spirit more in that church then the american one i was going to. Yes I am american but they provide a translator so i understand... But currently i am trying to learn to speak russian..It seems so far all the russians i have ever met have been awesome people they allways treat me as an equal unlike my fellow americans who think there is many different classes of people... My best friend is russian and im going with her next summer but she told me she wouldnt want me to go by my self...? I guess because In moscow its hardcore or at least from the way she discribed it, it is... I just want to know I mean i make some hott music I am a christian rapper and when i arrive And walk through the city or hop on the sub way will i be welcome or will I be a target like Dudes That have money when they walk through compton? Please give me your feed back..... |

I guess your friend is just concerned, which is not a weird thing. Moscow is not that dangerous. I met plenty of people traveling there on their own, inclusing young American women that would not give the impression of being 'tough'. Just behave like any sensible person would do and you'll be okay. |

You'll be just as welcomed as the other millions getting on the metro.
There are tons and tons of safety questions concerning Moscow and other places posted here......
If you know how to take care of yourself in one big city, you'll most likely have no troubles in Moscow.
I felt completely safe everytime I was there......but of course I was with native friends. |

| I felt as safe in Moscow as I felt in London or Paris or New York. Don't draw attention to yourself, know where you're going, and don't stop walking in the middle of a busy corridor and you will be fine! |
