| Can you be a little more specific. What is it you would like to know, or understand? Just my opinion, I know many men who pretend to very good at understanding women, but I am not one of them. The older I get, the less I understand them. Russian women are different, and you may learn a lot about them, but then again, you will never completely understand them. The best information you will receive will be in the form of personal opinions. This message board does have some info on the subject. The best way to know them is to meet, and talk to them, but even then understanding any woman is a never ending quest. |

| If you wrote a message to a girl mentioning that you had no or little money, would these women still write you? How come there are no mention of organizations to deal with the problems these women face? I am sure there are but perhaps, that is where these ladies' priorities should lie, huh? I still think that, in time, if/when Russia improves economicallly (i.e. the standard of living), that these women will then have no interest in these American or Western men. By then, it will be the same as it is now in Western countries. I still suggest that, beneath the surface, there are few. However, if we assume there are any signifcant differences, they are due to the culture which sprung up in Russia over time. |

I just went to the web site for fun. It's hard to take serious that those people actually gave these women money. But, I guess there's a lot of dumb people out there. I don't care if you're lonely or what, it's insane to give one penny to anyone you don't know or haven't even met yet. In fact, it's dumb to offer or give money in that way period.
I don't care what dire straits a woman insists she's in, you don't give them money like that. It's almost amusing if it wasn't so pitiful.
I guess I'm just very skeptical and I think too many people out there take advantage and people in true need (who want to be helped in a genuine and moral way) always end up getting screwed because of selfish, greedy scumbag scam artists who take advantage of fools. |

Why would Russian lady interact with someone who cannot afford to fly over to see them, cannot pay for a lawyer bills to get them over here, and I think it every women's dream to join Randy and Bubbles at the trailer park. Maybe they will as friends.

I belong to several forums, concerning more or less...seeking the Russian bride.
On all of these forums except one, one of the of the main topics is being scammed by the Russian woman.
The one post that I belong to that doesn't discuss scamming, is open to only the ones of us that are either married or engaged to a Russian woman.
Yes, I do support my fiance and her two 8 year old twin daughters with some of their finances..why ?..because they're part of my family now and my fiance needs all the help she can get raising these two beautiful children on $140.00 a month.
We have something between us called.."the trust factor"...she had and has never given me any reason not to trust her. She can account for every dollar I've ever given her, and due to our "trust factor", I've never once asked her to produce any evidence of what she did with the money.
I've been to Russia many times to visit them and "with my own two eyes" I've always seen the money was well thought out and spent by her.
I'm always amazed at the people that can tell everyone on these forums all about scamming and not trusting the Russian girls....I also know that only about 5% of all the guys writing Russian girls..GO TO THEIR COUNTRY AND MEET THEM!...so, put yourself in their shoes ...I've had several Russian girls tell me horror stories about how FOREIGN MEN have left them sitting at the Moscow airport waiting on their guy to arrive, but guess what..they DID NOT show-up...if YOU are one of these guys then you are a low-life JERK!...who is scamming who?
If you're writing a girl and making promises to her that you DON'T INTEND TO KEEP. and she keeps holding on to the thought of YOU being her special guy and not letting her down...then WHO is scamming WHO ?..YOU ARE!
If you've been corresponding with a girl in Russia and you are serious with your intentions and DO FLY TO MEET HER...then be a gentleman and PAY for her travel expenses because most likely she will use all of her money in travel expenses to get to the airport.. It's not that much guys and if she does ask you for more than a couple hundred..then act concerned and question her about it.
I send my fiance $200 for travel expenses to meet me at the Moscow airport..why $200.00 ?...the train ride for the three of them cost about $100.00, and they need money for food, and a taxi to the airport once they arrive after a long overnight train ride.
Yes, you can be scammed very easily if you start sending money to a girl without going over and meeting her in person, and rember this...about 99% of all the Russian girls CANNOT come to visit you here in the US , so do not get scammed by them telling you they can and wanting you sending them money for visas and plane tickets. It ain't gonna happen guys..so be careful.
One more thing that's important, if you can't afford the cost involved in the quest for a Russian wife...then find someone closer to your home.
It can be an expensive ordeal to meet and marry a Russian girl....You have to go to their country and meet them in person, you have to have a minimum income, the paperwok can get expensive....the frustrations are many.
It ain't easy and cheap guys , I know from experience.
If you can afford the quest, then use good judgement, sometimes trust your gut-feeling, become a good friend with her first, then go to her country and meet her, her family and friends....you'll be a better man for it, whether you succeed or not,

If that is your ...uh...summary of my writings then you need to re-read. That is rather simplistic and insulting but I understand how you would take offense. I can't help it. That's how I assess things and although I mean no disrespect nor do I intend to insult, I find ... how can I say this... human beings have a very hard time proving their "good points" are able to overcome their bad.

I'm glad you liked my comments. So, you are saying they are golddiggers? I don't think it's an excuse but I guess you do. The fact that so many of these men are whining about getting scammed doesn't seem like this is the real goal at all. Do you think these women are the only ones living under a horrible regime? Are they the only ones scraping by IN THE WHOLE WORLD? I bet each of us have some people living nearby who are scraping by. Yeah, they probably have their own scams but we criticize them, don't we? There are others that don't do any of these criminal things. What is wrong with criticizing these unethical acts? Do you really think it's excuseable to be unethical because you don't have money? I guess we should all lower ourselves and succumb to these behaviors because we have great excuses like we are poor, we cannot afford to live our life and other people have lots of money so they can afford to be scammed.
I am really sympatheic though if we are talking about the government or big business. The corruption and evil that exists does make me re-think my principles but there has to be a better way to fight the injustices and hardships! There has to or society will eventually collapse. That's why I emphasize staying informed and trying to do what's right or at least, recognizing what's obviously too unethical.
I think we should concentrate on trying to help them, those girls, but at the same time, I cannot condone the behavior when they steal. I don't think it should be tolerated or excused because that is not going to solve any problems. None of these people are going to find (real) happiness or love on either side.
Thanks for trying to guess my letter. You made it rather rude and insensitive but really, it is not that far from reality you know. I sure wouldn't ask the lady how "her totalitarian state is" though. I don't profess to know what to do or improve their status either. I try to tell myself everyone is different and not generalize but it's hard sometimes. Perhaps, it's done because of frustration, depression and hopelessness. I know I am no better and have my faults of course but I try my best to be a good citizen. I don't know how else to explain it. I just don't think the solution is to scam people out of money or try to "buy" their way out. There has to be a better way. At least, try to think of some other options and ask yourself is it justifiable and ethical what you're doing. |

Lawyer bills ??? aw shucks...I did all of our paperwork by myself....and most guys do.....my guess would be is because we can read and follow the instructions lol

Whew!, you sound like you got an attittude problem ole boy....if you ever have thoughts of getting you a Russian woman, you might better hang your hat on another bedpost somewhere else cause I can tell you right now....a Russian woman would "bust you butt" in a heartbeat with your attitude...
