It's official.
I hate this "face control" system. This is the shittiest idea ever.
It's rather quite funny, actually.
Especially here in St. Petersburg.
I think I'm probably the gayest person in Russia at the moment.
For instance, for fun, I decided to take a quick 10 minute stroll around Nevsky Prospekt earlier this evening just to "piss" people off, wearing nothing but a baby blue terry cloth fitted zip up hoodie with matching tracksuit bottoms (Juicy Couture), a big white fox fur jacket and my white dior snow boots... and my Dior rasta handbag.
I got all sorts of looks from all sorts of people.
Generally, I dress probably "louder" when I go out to clubs.
I went to 2 gay clubs here in St. Petersburg, Sinners and Cabaret -- both on Friday and Saturday nights... I probably spent no longer than 15 minutes on each club.
All the gay guys there are VERY weird... I don't know the correct spelling but i believe my friends in moscow refer them as govnyuki (not gomik.. but govnyuki gopnyiki or something)... i certainly got a lot of looks especially since i'm probably the only non-white person there. god knows whether they are good or bad looks but i don't give a flying fu**.
i just don't like the gay clubs in moscow and spb.
anyway, so i tried to get in at metro on friday (well 2am and saturday) and they told me it have to have a club card.... in other words... face control
and based on what i've read, Metro ain't that ELITNY anyway, compared to jet set or onegin
HOWEVER
i went to jet set EFFORTLESSLY. i don't have a club card of any kind. the 2 security guys just let me in.
i like staying on the 2nd floor because it's nice to sit down, meet people, etc.. a girl called polina kept taking pictures of me last night. i'm NOT the most photogenic person ever -- and frankly, i look utterly shi-ite in photos... but she said it's alright and she probably took about 8 or 10 pictures of me....
after jet set, i went to CCCP/USSR. i also got in effortlessly, without any fuzz whatsoever.
same thing on saturday night.
i LOOOOOVE CCCP. it really is a good place... afterparty. it's dead empty at 3am.... i went there at 3am and there's like 6 people.. i went back to jet set, had a couple of drinks... then went to CCCP after 5am. then it's packed.
CCCP has LOTS of very nice people, straight guys and straight girls... i left CCCP at around 7:30am.
so yes...
it's funny how i can easily get into "elitny" places (Vogue cafe is my pre-going out place in moscow) but when it comes to crappy places, they always give me a hard time to get in........ like Metro in SPB or Zona in Moscow (they finally let me in after 3 days of trying... mind you it's not worth it. it's full of GHETTO TRASH people).... |

| Bryan, you stated earlier that you were worried about skinheads and possible violence against you. But in your posts in seems that you like to attract attention to yourself in a Juicy Couture F*** YOu way. Maybe it is me, when in foreign lands, I like to fly under the radar. |

Uday, are you admitting that actual know what Juicy Coiture bottoms are? Because I do not know. Because quite frankly Uday that it is just scary. Please tell us that YOU really do not know what this is.
I REALLY doubt that Stalin knew what Juicy Coiture was. |

well
1) yes, i go to gay clubs, but i prefer straight/mixed/polysexual/omnisexual/whatever the de rigeur term of the moment clubs
2) do i dress gay? probably. LOL. it's strange that i did got hit on by a lot of girls in moscow... it's sooo weird.
3) am i gay? don't know. although my mom told me when i was 15 that when she gave birth to me, she did it in a toilet bowl and off i came out of her fanny, me holding a barbie doll on my right hand and a cigarette on the other. |
