Well this is a nice thread. I'll hit my stopwatch now, and time how long it takes the trolls to ruin it.
The best gifts I ever gave a woman were, the freedom to do whatever she wanted, moral and financial support in whatever she did, and my honest opinion whenever she asked for it. And lots of flowers. Well then there were cars and clothes, warm house, food to eat, and copious amounts of naughtiness, to keep her warm at night.
As for myself, all I require is the truth. Any other issues pale in comparison to the truth. When you always tell the truth, every other problem is easily solved. |

I don't want to ruin the thread, but I think yorbcbud would just appreciate a couple of hundred bucks so he can upgrade his bus.
One of the most important things for everyone in a gift is a sense of importance and recognition. You want to know that people remember about you and are willing to go extra step to find something special (unlike yorbcbud who does not even remember his girlfriend's birthday). But at times, this is something the person was really looking to buy himself and could not, for many reasons (not neceserrily the money). But the woman, Diamonds are always a very good gift. Good French cosmetics would do just fine too. |

And Stop. Hmm. By my watch it took 15 minutes for the troll to come out from under his bridge. Thanks for being consistant, if not intelligent. |

Sorry for the delay. I never actually read your post so I had to go back and peruse it. I don't usually read what you write, as it's a foregone conclusion that it will be juvenile, and meaningless. But as per usual, you talk about money as though it was the do all to and all, but the sense or importance part was correct. The rest looked like brain farts, and pigeon droppings to me. I'm not going to ruin jojo's thread by posting any more retorts to your pearls of wisdom. So you'll have to amuse yourself now, but you've been amusing youself all along in that locked room, havent you? |

yorbcbud - As usual, I very much appreciate your outburst. You're at best when you're passionate. The question was about the best gift one could receive. Yet, you talked about honesty that you appreciate in a person. What does honesty have to do with gifts? So I am not the only one straying off the original topic.
Sometimes money is the best gift, because then the person can buy whatever he/she wants. The other alternative is a gift certificate, which is nicer than cash. Wouldn't you appreciate a gift ceriticate for Home Depot? I think you can benefit from some new home fixtures. I bet the steering wheel in your bus is no longer working. |

Money is only the best gift when you are not creative enough to give something personal. For example, a lady friend of mine in San Diego is sending me a painting she did herself, as a gift. Do you not see the difference between that and a mittful of money? And as far as honesty goes, I can't think of a nicer gift to give someone. No amount of money can replace the trust that comes from knowing that your partner is always being honest with you. Or is money better? You tell me.
BTW you are correct about the steering wheel not working. I take it out when I'm parked, so that my big screen tv fits out of the way in the front.
I'm going for a snowmobile ride now, so I'll catch up with you later. As usual, it's been a slice, Spicey. Have a lovely day, enjoy the cold. Later. dude. |

| Diamonds are a very good gift. Simple things, finer things, home made, expensive, inexpensive...it doesn't matter. If all is from the heart then evrey one is priceless! I spoiled my last interest...all of it was from the heart. And that was the greatest gift I had to give. |

If honesty is a gift, I gave that gift to yorbcbud many times. He just does not appreciate it. |

Thats true Spicey, And now that you've told us all how you honestly feel, lets move on to truth, and then we can try respect. For yourself, and for others. |
