Is it easy to get it changed to a permanant Russian licence? Thanks in advance.

A driving licence received by foreign citizens abroad, in Russia are valid.

DITTRICH WayToRussified Joined: 13 Jun 2004 Posts: 429 Location: London UK	Posted: Mon Dec 11, 2006 11:39 am    Post subject: Driving License A UK (photo) License is valid in Russia provided you obtain an international driving permit from the AA or RAC. There should be instructions on their websites. There is no need to get a Russian License. Getting a Russian License can be done in one of two ways... 1 Going to "auto school", taking your test and so on. 2 Having good contacts and around usd200(-300?). In any case you'll need a medical spravka from a hospital (small charge) and some colour photos (unless they are now totally digital in which case none). Although its almost 10 years ago, I think I got 100% in my theory test! Les
