Yes, you can. First, become a Russian citizen. Then attend the Russian Air Force Academy at Monino. Then go fly jets. Easy.
Of course you'll have to spend several years actually becoming a Russian citizen. Then you'll have to compete with thousands of natural-born Russian citizens who also want to attend the Russian Air Force Academy. If accepted you would then have to compete academically for a pilot job. So... the long and short of it, sure, you can do it. How realistic?
http://twentyninewest.com/trips/moscow/index7.htm - read about Monino starting with Tuesday.

I think you have a better chance of flying to the Moon - seriously. |

I think Spice is saying that Russia has a space tourism program, and for enough money, you can become a cosmonot, and that might be the fast track for you! |

Yeah. Only 20 mil, and you get a trip to the IST. I don't think they take cheques though. |

| For 10 mil more, they will take you even if you're sick. Money rules everything. |

Yeah, it amazed me that John Glenn was able to pass the physical tests to get approval to fly. Must have been a tough old bird. |

We can turn your bus into a rocket ship if we invest enough money. You will become a space traveller. |

I do not know if you are pondering a career change or just to pilot a Russian a/c? But there is a small fee of $5000USD (last time I saw this offer was a few years ago), and you can 'rent' a Mig and be flown in Russian airspace! How many people do you know that can say they have flown in a Russian Mig? I think it was advertised as the Mig 31? But search the web. As far as the career move, good luck! Or call in your favors from the oil behemoths of Gazprom if you have any. You must have some contacts to help open doors!
