I agree. There should have been an option, " doesn't matter where they come from" I like American women. They are some of my favourites. |

Generalising of this sort can be hazardous. Having said that it's impossible to talk about this topic with some generalising.
I once heard it said that "Heaven is living in an English house, on an American salary, with a Chinese chef and a Japanese wife. Hell is living in a Japanese house, on a Chinese salary, with an English chef and an American wife". 
Personally I think that's a little unfair - I've known some American girls who were very nice indeed... |

You really cannot judge an american women or any other woman in the world...communication is number one in any relationship..if you do not have this then you don't have anything...it does not matter where a woman is from....you just cannot judge on women...it is in her character and how she carries herself..when a man and a women have respect for each other and can conquer just about anything together then you have a great relationship...  |

I totally agree with you there JoJo. There are an estimated 3.3 billion or so women in the world, and we can't judge them all on the basis of a few. The same is equally true of the 3.3 billion or so men in the world...
Having said that, there have been times in my darker moments when I've roundly damned the female half of the human race. So I need to practice what I preach!   |

Funny that you mentioned communication, yet you plan on meeting a man of your dreams that speaks a different language. When you don't speak another language fluently, miscommunications may occur.... |

I'm not picking on JoJo, but Spice, you're absolutely correct about the miscommunications. It's problematic enough when two folk have the same native tounge to begin with. Definitely calls for lots of patience with one another! |

Spicey, your are right to a point but, people learn to communicate with each other all the time it doesn't matter where they come from, they learn each others language and so on....if you DIG each other then it is fun teaching each other....you could be married for years and not even communicate whether your the same culture or not..it doesn't matter...language is a small thing to learn but communicating takes a life time whether you are married to the same person for years or just meeting each other for the first time....whether you are American, Russian...or any other culture...there are other ways to talk to each other...I myself..if I met another person who wasn't an American and he liked me, I would do my best to learn his language...I am sure it would be mutual..and fun...so, saying who makes the best wife...is really hard to say because it is up to the man...preference really doesn't qualify in deciding what culture of a women is the best...since every man in here has a preference and has mentioned their women are the best wives and each woman is a different nationality how can you say that? so, this thread is not right..it is merely preference that is being discussed rather than who is the best culture of women and wives.. |

| maybe there should be a miss wife contest every year. To see which country/culture would win. Really the only person who the Best Wife choice should matter to should be her husband. I guess Love is really the all deciding judge. Valentine's Day...not too far away...men be prepared. Communication is done in many different ways...and is the key to everything! And it's a great way to show and give respect. I had some great communicating last night...and I have to say I think there is also a certain art to it. And some are truly gifted more than others |
