Hi,
My girlfriend has come to Uk twice. I was advised to submit as much info as possible.
1 Letter of invitation
2. Copies of phone Bills with gf telephone number on
3. Copies of flight tickets
4 copies of 3-6 months wage slips
5 copies of passport with Russian visas / Driving licence
6. copies of 3 months bank statements
7. Proof of UK residence like council tax, water/electricity bills.
My girlfriend first applied for 6 month visa, and now has a new 12 month visa. Just give as much info as possible. |

Hey AlwaysmilingUK, thats good info. I'll add a bit more to it (like proof of my trip to see her)..
My question is though... this letter of invitation....?
I'm guessing as I'm inviting her, I should write it (is this correct?) What sort of stuff should I put in it, I have no idea of how it should look. I have seen some sample's online, but they are from companies or universities, and as I'm neither of these.. I don't know what should go in it?
Anyone help me out here?

Leave it as it is. Internet and phone contact demonstrates continuity in your relationship. In fact records of phone calls or copies of emails, chats etc should be used to support and strengthen your application. |

| I think when a person walks into an Embassy, he is considered as a potential immigrant. So what they are looking for is something that proves that you will come back to your own country. If you have nothing back home to come back to, you are most likely to be turned down. |
