Below are four (4) questions and a bonus question. You have to answer them
instantly. You can't take your time, answer all of them immediately. OK?
Let's find out just how clever you really are....
Ready? GO!!! (scroll down)
First Question:
You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What
position are you in?
Answer: If you answered that you are first, then you are absolutely wrong!
If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second!
Try not to screw up next time.
Now answer the second question,
but don't take as much time as you took for the first question, OK?
Second Question:
If you overtake the last person, then you are...?
(scroll down)
Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong
again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?
You're not very good at this, are you?
Third Question:
Very tricky arithmetic! Note: This must be done in your head only. Do NOT
use paper and pencil or a calculator. Try it.
Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 . Now add 30. Add another
1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000 Now add 10. What is the total?
Scroll down for answer.....
Did you get 5000?
The correct answer is actually 4100.
If you don't believe it, check it with a calculator!
Today is definitely not your day, is it?
Maybe you'll get the last question right....
.....Maybe.
Fourth Question:
Mary's father has five daughters: 1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono. What
is the name of the fifth daughter?
Did you Answer Nunu?
NO! Of course it isn't.
Her name is Mary. Read the question again!
Okay, now the bonus round:
A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating
the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the
shopkeeper and the purchase is done.
Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses;
how does HE indicate what he wants?
He just has to open his mouth and ask...
It's really very simple.... Like you! |

It's just a joke. Don't take it personal. I just copied it from my friend's blog. I didn't bother to reword it, but yes, it's a little condescending. Sorry. |

| I didn't take it personal at all...in fact I found this to be quite humoring. Allowed me to laugh at my self which is necessary from time to time |

Where'd you go for so long BC?
Surely it's not shroom season up there already!
Oh, I missed half of the questions......just confirms what a dumas I am!
Oh well. |

The season will be starting soon, and there's so much to do here. The campground has fallen trees everywhere, I have to enlarge sites, (can you believe they make 50 ft motorhomes now?), we are putting in seasonal sites, new roads, I have to clear another 700 ft of lakeshore etc etc.
No shrooms yet, we still have a foot of snow. I think I saw a Cheshire cat once, though. Could have been the tuner I smoked, though. lol
Don't feel bad. I missed most of the questions too. So I guess we're both dumbasses. I hope the guitar building is going well. |

Sounds like a lot of work....and work is good! Foot of snow sounds terrible! I'm SO ready for spring!!!!!!
Guitars are coming along a little slower than I had hoped......but I've got one that's almost ready to start milling for the neck and electronics. Two I'm working on will be absolutely gorgeous when finished....birdseye maple!!!!!! Got a wild hair the other night and decided I'm gonna build one with double necks.......should be interesting if I can pull it off. Still working on the template at this point though. We'll see. |

Hey thanks BC! Never seen it before, and definitely worth having bookmarked! So far, I've done an adultrated version of the guitars Garcia played. One of his was layered with different woods, and I even heard that one had a layer of brass, making it a whopping 13.5 pounds. One I finished, and named "Dasha," after my friend's little girl weighs in at 9.5 pounds....it's walnut....very pretty, but a bit heavy for a lil feller like myself. I'll try to post what photos I have on my flickr account and then invite you there if I'm not able to post here.
Keep warm.
We have crazy weather here in Terrapin Station!
Yesterday was like spring, today is like winter......I own a swimming pool company, so I'm ready for work like you cannot imagine!!!!! I figure one more month of relaxing and then it's 14 hour days until September.
Good stuff!
Take care my friend!1 |

I guess I helped too Mr. Spice.
Sorry if I wasted some of your time.
It's just a cold, lazy day down here in Terrapin Station and I was a little bored.
I'll try to reply only to things that everyone will be interested in.....or maybe even flirt with some girls here.
Those topics seem to be interesting don't they?

You're welcome. Jerry was an awesome musician. I will look forward to seeing the finished products.
Today was very warm, but I still managed to get in a skidoo ride.
The first job I ever had in my life was installing in ground swimming pools with my dad. I'm getting my equipment ready for 12 hour days too. |
