No, no one from those regions ever comes here, and I don't know what those cities are - never heard of them. |

Anadyr is on the Bering sea, it is sea port, and is also the most easterly town in Russia. Egvekinot is also on the east coast, on the Bering sea. |

Anadyr has a population of 11,000 people. I don't know if it has train service, ( probably), but it has a nearby airport. The Oligarch Roman Abramovich comes from there and was mayor for a while. Egvekinot is an urban center with 2400 people. I would imagine it's a little desolate, and isolated. It's closer to North America, than where you are, I would think. The Bering sea is not a very interesting area, other than Icebergs and glaciers. It would probably be interesting to start there and work your way back toward home by train, through the middle or Russia, seeing all the little towns on the way back. Probably many miles of nothing to see though. |

Anadyr is the closest city to Alaska, and the Bering strait can only be crossed by boat from June to October. It is approx. 55 miles wide, and small boats are able to cross it, when there is open water. |
