She has never been before and needs to get a visitors visa. Can any body please tell me how long the visa will allow her to stay and what the costs are? Also if the flights tickets are purchased in the UK but collected at Aeroflot Moscow office will this be ok as far as proving that she has return tickets booked for her visa application? Any further advice that you can give would be appreciated.

tilston15381 Frequent Guest Joined: 03 Dec 2006 Posts: 15 Location: Liverpool, UK	Posted: Thu Mar 08, 2007 4:57 pm    Post subject: My girl comes over on saturday. she has been over before. but its abit of a nightmare when first getting as visa you need to prove income, where you live, letter of invitation to her, passport copy, bank statements of about 3 months, and proof of your relationship. If she is successful she will get a visa for 6 months. my gf is on her second visa now! if she gets rejected first time, its unlikely she would get a visa the second time. so make sure you take good time in planning what documents you need.

One question.. How are you supposed to prove she is your girlfriend?? (Ok, are you supposed to take in a bunch of photos from your previous time together or whatever???)

I wouldnt say she is your girlfriend, just say 'friend' and her visit is tourism! because otherwise they will charge her more for visa. They just need to understand she will be coming back to russia! so if you say friend it gives her better chance of getting visa!
