mrporridge Just Starting Joined: 11 Nov 2004 Posts: 7 Location: south africa	Posted: Thu Nov 18, 2004 5:45 pm    Post subject: business vias i have a friend in russia who might be able to send support for a business visa. do I also need to state the exact cities I will be visiting for a business visa, or is a business visa more flexible. how long before entering the country can I have a business visa issued. eg: i would like to travel to russia from iran (either overland through the stans or by ferry from iran - is this possible). your previous advice was not to apply for a visa in iran, so that mans I must get it in Turkey. Is the visa valid from time of issue or from the time you enter the country? thanks

The visa will be valid from the moment you specify in your visa support application form.
