Okay third trip coming and I want to see more
2-3 weeks.
Previous places I have been Moscow, St Petes, Veliky Novgorod, Kazan, and Yoshkar-Ola. I do not want to live on a train.
Suggestions?
Thinking Volgograd, Sochi, |

I don't think it's much to see in Volgograd, 1 week is enought. And probably 2 weeks in Sochi. |

Go to Crimea (this is Ukraine and you don't need a visa). Crimea is really beautiful - kind of like Italy. The most popular resorts there are Yalta and Alushta. http://pages.prodigy.net/euroscope/crimea.html |

| My husband is from Krasnodar and his friend had recommended to him that when we go to the Black Sea, we go to the Crimea, but then after they thought about it, they thought there might be problems since I'm American. If the Ukraine doesn't require Americans to have a visa, can you think of any potential problems with us going there? |

I spent 5 days in Sochi last summer. Not impressed. I wouldn't go back.
Give it a miss. |
