So what? There was a 15 minute television news story on him on the CBC. Oddly enough the most interesting shots of him were when he was plastered at public functions, dancing like a fool, and even hammered at a White House dinner. The only time he looked normal, was when he was making a speech on the tank, trying to save Gorbechov's ass from the throng. |

I do hope Yeltsin already scalds in HELL.
This man wilfully deprived so many people of everything they had and never stopped short at human blood when he thought he would benefit from such a "final solution".
I only regret he never stood trial for all he did.
Bye-bye, Boris. Happy scorching. |

Ok so he will go down in the history books as the man who dismantled the USSR.
So?

To quote you, "so what"? Who cares what's on CBC?
I often disagree with the WSJ's editorial positions, but their reporting and analysis is among the best on the planet. |

| surfguy wrote: | | Mogsfan...I too agree with what you have said...this goes way way back and is very interesting. Two things that mix is oil and banking...together they represent greed. People should realize that when a bank lends money to a nation or a business or a individual the bank then has some control over the borrower. In terms of nations...usually taxes are used to repay the loan...meaning that the people suffer the burden. For bussines it's prices...which are then passed on to the consumer...or the people. And in individaul-it's an even more direct impact. But this is how the world works. Napolean is interesting to study becuase he was very anti world banking. Kennedy wanted to do away with the Federal Reserve. And the world banks funded the Russian Revolution. Anyway have to study it some more. But very interesting and easy to see. |
Yeah, and look what happened to Kennedy. In fact, there have been people throughout history who wanted to do away with the Federal Reserve or stop the 'Central Bankers.' If you read/research enough, it begins to portray an interesting picture. A lot of it starts to explain how things are. The events in the U.S. become more clear and you could even infer a bit on Russia. Interesting stuff. I have videos and sites if you want any.
As for Russia, I think too many people put too much stock into Yeltsin and miss the big picture. Alternatively, a lot of Westerners do the same but in the opposite perspective. Americans think Yeltsin did well and accomplished a lot in dismantling the Soviet Union while Russians think he did the same but in an utmost damaging way. While this idea is valid, it misses the point that he operated in a grander scheme. The dismantling of the Soviet Union was timed. Or at least, the bankers capitalized on the events as they're opportunists. The role of the IMF is important here.
People always assume that our leaders, our politicians want to serve and protect us. They're simply wrong. They want to maintain their power, control and money. They couldn't care two cents about the people. That goes for the American President. That goes for the Russian one. That goes for the majority of other politicians in other positions of power and influence. What is important is to look into facts and probabilities and be wary of the mainstream media. |

| Yes I remember watching some program on the money changers and the rothchilds etc etc...there are theories out there that say that the USSR was created by the money changers...in the USA money was just printed up to finance railroads, buildins...etc etc. When I was in Azerbaijan there are a lot of buildings house residences of Rockefller and some of the other oil tycoons that were built at the turn of the last century...amazing. Debeers is an American owned company when most people think it is owned by debeers. No there is some very well planned out things going on...by a select few |

you're right - he often did look ridiculous. He was known to be a drunk. But he made a huge difference in the course of Russia's history. He did some good things, but he made many grave mistakes as well. |

I just hate that you turned against me once on this forum. You are a pathetic loser in my economy of things. I have NO respect for you. Unless, of course, you realize your stupid mistake. If not, I am going to slam your every little stupid post. |

In your economy of things, you can eat your soiled socks and continue wiping your butt with the banana peel... Please continue slamming. What else you are going to do all evening? It's either playing hide and seek with your member or this... |
