Maybe this spring... Does anybody have contacts in the Canadian embassy, so they give me a visa without any fuss? Also, do I need a separate visa if I want to go to US too?

Haha, there's even a large Russian community here in Toronto. Shouldn't be too hard for you to get a visa, although you will need a seperate one for the US.

You should come to the West Coast... Vancouver. It's so beautiful! If you come, I will be sure to show you around. Unfortunately I do not have any contacts at the Embassy; however, it really shouldn't be too difficult for you to get. And yes, as Uday said, you will need a separate visa for the US. They are very strict since 9/11. Lindsay
