Hi there, sorry if this has been asked many times before.

I want to visit Vladivostok from China. The Russian Consulate in Hong Kong states that I need "a copy of a two way air ticket or confirmation that such ticket is booked".

Please advise how the tourist invitation documents provided by your service cover this requirement, especially as I will enter Russia by land from China.

Thanks
Michael

I don't think they really need the airline tickets reservations. If you are really sure that is their requirement: not a problem -- book the tickets, bring them a confirmation of your booking, and then, after you get the visa, cancel the reservation. If you are younger than 25, try some youth travel agency -- they provide nice tickets where you can even buy a ticket and then cancel it paying only $25 US.

The visa support documents obtained through this site are enough to get a visa. You will also need, of course, to present your photos, consular fee, filled out visa application form (available on consualtes' websites), in some cases - insurance (if you are a citizen of continental Europe or Asia), and if you're traveling for longer than 3 months to Russia - a recent HIV test.
