I'm Canadian, she's American, we live in Japan, and are hoping to travel the Trans-Mongolian from Beijing-Moscow DIRECT in August. So I'm wondering if anyone else has applied for Russian visas in Japan and can give us some tips? We're working with a local travel agent, but it's her first time doing this too, so it's getting stressful. Any help is greatly appreciated!
