I just wanted to take a moment and insert a happy independence day to our fine southern neighbours. I will ignore the fact that you didn't take 5 seconds out of your day to wish us " Happy Canada day " But, you see that's the thing about Canada. We love you all anyway. Cool

For our northern peeps on Canada Day . . . Happy Canada Day! I apologize for not promptly recognizing the holiday time this year. Locally, there's been a lot of crap going on - politically, personally, financially, etc . . . you name it. But anyway, best wishes to you and your fellow citizens on your nationial holiday!

I guess you purposefully made this post here and not in Talk Lounge. Because you know that if it was posted there, I'd say what I will say now.

How can you congratulate them with something you hate? The 4th of July is a celebration of true democracy. It is the time to remember how the brave men fought corageously to get out of Britain's subjugation?

It's the time to pause and think that young american men and women spill their bood today to keep this world from falling apart. Which you do not believe should be done.

So, your congratulation should sound fake to most americans.

Actually it was supposed to be in Talk Lounge. My bad. The reason that I post anything about my wonderful country, is because I know how much you hate Canada, and Canadians, and your silly hate filled rants amuse me. You need a few history lessons. But not from me. Laughing

Yes you did, and it was very considerate of you. The holiday was July 1st. Have a safe, and Nikir-free independence day in Kentucky. Should be some good fireworks by the river there? Smile

One of the Great things about WTR is the fact that there is a lot of things that people can infact come together on...and that is learning about the great places we all live in. Yes we may differ on politics...and on religion...and we may also express the pride in who we are and where we are from. Also we may infact as we do...try to out wit and poke at one another (hopefully not to the point of hatred...more in just good competetive fun) Two things I will not forget now and that is Canada Day July 1st, and Victory Day May 9th? which I actually did celebrate this year with some Russian Friends. These are Historic Days for sure and So I wish the best for both Canada and Russia and thier peoples and my friends. Tomorrow July 4th is a great holiday here in the USA...not only is it Historical but like I'm sure in Canada and in Russia it's a day for National Pride...reflecting on how and why our Country came to...and it's a time to reflect on what it is we stand for as a nation and as a citizen. But too more importantly it's a Holiday that brings friends and families together to enjoy the summer weather...and all the joy and laughter and summer time fun! So to my fellow Americans enjoy tomorrow and God Bless America!

Well I worked away for 2 days of the weekend. We did good, except for the little piggy campers throwing garbage, and fireworks tubes in the lake. And the bear that ripped apart our dumpster.
Aside from that it was a perfectly lovely weekend. Cool

I love bears!
Except I realize they aren't so cuddly if they can rip apart a dumpster.
Must of been good eats for the bear!

Do you own/work on a campground BC?
Can I call you BC, if you don't mind?
