What is the Lords name? The Lords name isnt God or Lord, so what has been taken in vain?  |

That's another reason why cats, dogs should never be domesticated! Spaded or neutered? That should be called animal cruelty! |
Hmmmm, I've had cats for years and they have never made my place smell. It's important to keep the litter box clean! Wash the box before changing the litter at least once a week depending on how many cats you have or how messy they are at their toilet.
I just about died the other day. Some guy in my building was out dumping the litter in the garbage bin. Then he just fills the box without cleaning the box first. I was thinking, "good god, that box is going to smell big time and be full of germs" I felt sorry for the two cats that live in that apartment. Yuck!
Yup, it's important to get the animals spayed or neutered at the appropriate ages. Female cats 5-6 months old, male cats, 7 months.
Both male and female cats develop cancers of the reproductive system if left to breed indiscriminately. Now that is cruelty.

I have two cats, talk to them all the time and love them just as much as my human family. Their health is of the utmost importance to me. My boyfriend just shakes his head, sometimes, but I've caught him petting my one cat Curtis, so I think he's starting to get soft. Who would've guessed 6 months ago. He regarded them as furniture at first.

You're not just innocent, you are funny too! Unlike all those other canadians that crawl in and out here.
Just a word of caution though. When you talk to your cats, please, do not pretend like they are talking back to you. That would be freaky for real.
But seriously, cats and dogs should live outside. Always. Because any house/apartment that has cats - always stinks to all others except the owners. |
A little humour can go a long way, thanks. I agree animals should have the freedom to go outside. I've never lived up north so leaving animals strictly outside, ah I couldn't do it. Even my sister who lives on a reserve, her cat never goes outside. Her dog is outside a lot but comes in too.

Subject: THINGS TO PONDER AS WE APPROACH ANOTHER FOURTH OF JULY...]
Ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?
Five were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.
Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons
serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.
They signed and pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.
What kind of men were they?
24 were lawyers and jurists. 11 were merchants, 9 were farmers and
plantation owners; men of means.
They signed the Declaration of Independence knowing that the penalty
was death if they were captured.
Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his
ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and
properties to pay his debts, and died in rags.
The British hounded Thomas McKeam. He kept his family in hiding. He
served in Congress without pay. His possessions were taken. Poverty was his reward.
Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer,
Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.
At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., urged General George
Washington to open fire on HIS OWN HOME where the British had set up
headquarters. The home was destroyed. Nelson died bankrupt.
Francis Lewis; home and properties were destroyed. His wife died in
jail within a few months.
John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives.
His fields and gristmill were laid to waste. He lived in forests and caves, returning home to find
his wife dead and his children vanished.
Some of us take these liberties we have so much for granted, but we shouldn't.
Take a few minutes while preparing for and enjoying your 4th of July
holiday. Silently thank these patriots.
