i am also having serious problems with connectrussia :
i ordered train tickets through connectrussia, on 07/05/2007, and payed them few days afterwards.
tickets should have arrived on the middle of june, but did NOT arrive.
i wrote them an email and got this answer last week:
"Your train tickets will be finally ready on the next week, and we will send them to you immediately".
this week, i haven't heard anything from them, i wrote again to any possible address and called many times - and nothing!
I am very worried. on 15th of july, i am leaving Milan for Moscow, tickets should have been here a month ago.
What do i do????
HELP!!

I also ordered tickets from connectrussia months ago.
They were supposed to arrive in the middle of June, I have had replies from Alexander but still no mention of when my tickets will arrive, I am leaving Australia next week and so need them in the next few days but nothing has happened, I paid a lot of money for these and so am in a bit of a panic at the moment.
Like the previous poster I urgently need help on getting this sorted in the next few days!!! |

As per my post in another thread, I've also been kept waiting and had no reply to my emails on progress. I did finally get the phoned picked up yesterday morning and I was told my tickets would be sent Monday or Tuesday. I also got a promise to send me an email with the tracking number. As I'm doing other travelling first it is important that these dates are met. I shall post an update on progress.
As for advice all I can suggest is that you keep trying the phone - I believe that my wife and I tried about 20 to 30 times before we got an answer.

did any of you wrote GREG (greg AT waytorussia DOT net from waytorussia)?
i did but i got no answer... i will try to write again today. from Alexander still nothing. i don't understand how come they dont reply to e- mails anymore.

I'll bet that's a relief for you!
Had a similar problem last year with Zuji with some tickets for an internal flight in Russia. Came in the post 2 days before I left . Whew!
Can't understand why someone from admin or connect. has not jumped in here. Bad for business surely. |

to liat79: The transsiberian route is very difficult route. Your train tickets were finally ready only a few days ago, yesterday (09.07.2007) they were send to you and today (10.07.2007) you have received them. Your train tickets weren't send to you, because they were not ready!
to KeithManning: The train tickets on the international routes can be finally provided only 40 days before the departure. Your train tickets were finally ready only on Friday and today they were send to you and you will receive them tomorrow (11.07.2007) morning before 12:00AM.
to nikir: We don't provide the flights, so you post your claims in wrong post. |

Thank you for your reply.
my main problem was, not only i didn't receive tickets, but i haven't heard anything from you for more than a week and i never got the explanation you are giving me now.
if you had at least wrote something to relax me, i didn't have to complain.
any-how, now i got the tickets and there is no problem, i hope in the future you could improve that side of your service.

I made no mention of you providing anything for me. The comment was commiserating with the poster over the lack of communication and the anxiety caused when this happens.
If you took such comments on board, rather reacting in the silly way that you have,you may find that you have fewer complaints and more customers. |
