So I am looking for a website that can tell me about exchange rates for currency and some information on what currency's are used in Russia and the basic break down of the paper money and coin money what they look like and there basic equivalences to USA money. thanks for the help in advance.

It's pretty well spot on.

As for currency there, the only one is rubles, don't take in heaps of foreign currency though, use your ATM card.

Take SOME Euro's (1st choice) or USD for emergency. Only a couple of hundred bucks worth though.

Sorry just reread your post. Notes are from 10 rubles up to a thousand, maybe higher but 1,000 is the hihest I've seen.

A ruble is worth about 5 cents so you can do the maths.

As for coins, only look at the larger silver ones. All the rest you can leave where some needy person can find them.
