I agree. Kids at a very young age are very impressionable especially from parents or older siblings. It's not until they approach and reach the teen years that peers are the ones who influence rather than the parents so much.

Which is why I think parents should influence their kids when they approach the teen years....because peers might go overboard...read my previous post for better reasoning

That's easier said then done. Something happens inside as one approaches their teen years. Suddenly your parents are the last people in your life you want influencing you.

I disagree....when I'm 12 and my dad offers me alcohol...and there's other kids at the table who's parents don't let them...I'm happy to take it lol.
