But that's good he loves his country. I'd like to love mine the same. To me, to love his own country it's not a bad thing, except when you say that all the others are bad. |

Poor baby, why don't you beat on some ethnic minority and you can feel racially superior. Because we all know that Russia is perfect country in the world and nothing is wrong with it.
If you notice, I do not knock Russian people just the government and the economic system. I do not knock the cultural. Just like you knocking the Americans or French. If you want to knock my country, it is Canada. You know what is wrong with Canada. We have no back bone as nation in the world and we like you have everything, but we do not use it. Immigrants come to this country and are way more successful than the Canadians, becuase they have pride and work ethic that Canadians have lost. Canada is living teetering bomb Quebec Nationalism that is screwed our country for a long time, because we do not have the balls to be a Republic and imbreed royal family to take a hike, because we are trying to hold.
I learn so much from people from other countries in silly things we do like Canadians drive everywhere or treat their animals like children. Russians who live my country regularly compare the two and somethings they like in Canada and something they like in Russia. For each individual is different.
My country has its problems just as your country does, but I choose not ignore them. I am proud of my heritage, but I also seek to learn from other countries and cultural also. I walk on this earth as human being, not a nationality.
Nancyboy keeps your ignorance and live under that that rock and ge beat that minority and you feel much better about your nation. |

why do you think USA hates Russia......Russia has a stash of nuclear weapons......and Bush does't give a crap....do u see him doing anything about it?.....Kerry would have....but Bush could care less.
What about Russia's government?....they are selling weapons to the terrorists you will be fighting sooner or later...not talking about chechens....(there were Arab volunteers at that school hostage taking)...the USA did that too before (sold weapons to Bin Laden when he was fighting Russia in Afganistan) look how well that turned out.

I'm learning enough about rednecks, redskins, redfeet, etc. And also about geopolitcs. I've been to USSR in the 80's, during the Olympics. I do enjoyed Moscow. Nice people, eveybody trying do help foreigners in the subway and all I wanted it was to be lost there, the prettiest tube in the world. Now, I've talked several times with brazilian football players in Russia. They are very happy with the life, food and the suporters. Even with snow during the matches. Many of them are black and they don't complain about racism like in other european countries.
What I suggest is to avoid making confusion with people and governments. People and nations will remain; governments will pass.
It's easy to say but if you want you will find the best and the worst, Here, There and Everywhere. |

Born on mound of dirt called Canada, but I am Scottish ancestry. Never gave a rat ass about the mound dirt called Russia until I met a lady in Calgary from Moscow. She hated Russia, but was proud to be Russian. She loved Canada, but disliked Canadians. Make sense?
Anyways friends with her for awhile and broke up and still really did not care about the mound dirt called Russia. But I want to play Rugby over there, because the rugby is tough over there, but awful like my style and plus I was interested to verify the BS this bird told me, because although living in Canada for 4 years, besides me she had not a single Canadian friend, but many other immigrant friends.
So I started to learn Russian, because I was offered a chance to play professional Rugby in Moscow though I was not interested, because wages suck ass. I thought I still learn something. I started to learn from a lady who lived in SPB. She was 71 years old and she was born Vladvlastok, but worked through Russia and Georgia and she eventually moved to Romania married and came to Canada. She was brilliant and told me many things about the mound of dirt you live on. Still not interested in mounds of dirt, but the people and cultural remind my Scottish heritage. Loved the children tales, my favorite was the golden egg. Although considered lawless, corrupt, cheap and drunks, by the outside observer, by the people who really understood the people and the culture, it is quite opposite. I still hate your government and I hate the American government also. While you are there, add mine to the list. But it is the people that make the country. Not the mounds of dirt or the government. You cannot tell me that you are proud to be Russian, because of your government or that you have ability to kill yourself and everyone around you. No I think you are proud of the accomplishments that you have done as a people. see my last post on what you can learn from Russian people. Same with Scottish people, there is a book called how Scottish invented the world. I am proud of my heritage with poets like Robbie Burns and great musicians. Scottish people have started communities that no one else would settle, like the Russians in Siberia. We also known for our strong drink and amount consumed. In my part of the country during 9-11, we gave shelter to Americans who were stranded. But we also have problems. Corruption in Nova Scotia is high. You can buy votes with bottles of moonshine and get jobs in similar way. But we have pride and cultural in a small community that rivals most large cities. So I became fascinated with the similarities. I am no F*cking George Soros who is trying change the world into my view. I personally hate EU in its cultural cleansing policies. My view on this forum is that too many people concentrate on Soviet days and despite the glory of Peter the Great, I think that he tried to make Russia too much like western Europe, but that is my opinion. If I had a choice to see what happens to Russia, culturally become more Russian(still preserving other unique cultures within your borders like Mari people), but have more of global economy. I am firm believer in multinational world, but one global economy.
The other truth was that I was supposed to visit Georgia this year, but that fell through. I use to post on the Russian Rugby site, but my Russian is too weak and the Georgian Russian rivalry is absolutely hilarious. The average Russian does not care about Rugby, but if there is a game in Krasnador and Russia have a chance to beat the piss out some Georgians for national pride, then get me to stadium. I know this, because France came to play and they did not fill the stadium, but every year the Georgian game is FILLED. BTW, you lost this year.
But you are very interesting. Actually not really, you are like those Americans who wave the flag to prove that they love their country while rest of Americans are embarrassed by their actions. Great you have nuclear weapons. Russian John Wayne attitude to carry a big gun and have a small brain. You are just like what you hate. You are George Bushov. It is funny that you become the person you hate the most. Weird You remind of the anti-Bush anti-Semitic posters in the Pravda forum.
It is not that I do not understand why you are upset with people taking shots at your country. But still to become nancyboy is extreme. So why are you here? Should you be out on streets of Moscow and completing your ethnic cleansing? If you do not like other nationalities as you like Russians, why do you come here to beat the hell of Andre?

I like to discuss various things. Have you read any Socrates in your life time?
Socrates was great man that through discuss was able to enlighten people in their ways or ignorance, but also Socrates was able to learn about himself and things. He kept an open mind. Dmitri, Alice, at al have enlighten me on many new things.
Also I am always on the computer, because I am writing a thesis(not on Russia). I get bored. So I post too much. Also I have a dislike for people who think treat people as objects. Even a well traveled like Dmitri has not all the facts on the world and I have learnt many times.

Why bother to argue with this Nancyboy. Remember he was born genetic superior than us inferior nationalities that is why we are to be genetically cleased, by Russia and big nuclear weapons. He came on this forum to insult people and feel superior. He believes that we are all this forum here, because we want something. Probably that we want to Russian or that we hate Russian, because we are jealous that we are not Russian. Probably hates the Oligarchs, and thinks that former USSR countries should be reaquired by Russia, because they all want to be Russian also. Right Nancy? |
