Hello i am very interested in traveling to Moscow for the New Year. I have my passport, application forms, and my Private Homestay Invitation. I tried calling the NY Consulate # and they were closed on weekends.

My question is how many Visa application forms do i need to submit to the consulate and how many pictures do i need? On the ruscon.org it says i need 2 applications and 2 pictures but when i called the NY # the recording says i neeed 1 application and 1 picture. Does anyone know for sure what do i need to mail to get my Visa??!?! Somebody please post back. Thank You!

Thank You for your post. I have one finally question. Do i have to sign my name on the back of the photos? I read in one website i have to and in the ruscon.org it does not mention anything about that. I am already to mail away for my Visa i have all the requirements i just want to know if i should sign them before i mail them out. Please respond ASAP because i am mailing them 1st class on Friday mourning and i am paying 200$ for Visa so i will get it the next day. I am not trying to waste 200$ for them to send my stuff back and say i need to do somthing else. Thank you.

Usually the photo were stamped at the place you took them. I did for my tourist visa. I dated them also.
