Last year I found a good Russian teacher in my hometown Houston through a Russian website here in the states. I didn't book mark the site and now I have forgotten the name. If you know the name I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks Dave Smile

meetup.com

у них есть много группы. На пример Russian Language Learners. и там написано разговоры участников.

well, I'm saying conversation becasue I don't know the word for advertisements...anyway the group members often are Russians advertising their services and you can sometimes find a tutor in one of your Houston area, Russian language meetups.

I hired one from there. She had one rule, that we only speak Russian!

She really wanted only to tutor children of Russian immigrants because she said Americans refused to speak in Russian.

I didn't break her rule and within an hour she said it was OK to use English! GAAWWWDDDD. HUMILIATING. May you have better luck!
