Hi,
I'm visiting the MAKS Airshow in August and would also like to visit the old airfield at Khodynka. In 2005 there were a few aircraft still on the airfield. Does anyone know if there are still any aircraft there now ? Can I visit the airfield ? Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Ian

Also, do consider a visit to Monino - an aircraft buff will enjoy the experience: http://www.moninoaviation.com/

Hi, Ian!

My friend tell me, that most likely there are no any aircraft at Khodynka.
Khodynka was the first airfield in Moscow and now there are residential areas.

You also can visit All-Russian Exhibition Center.
There you can find some aircraft like: Yak-42, Su-154 and space rocket.

If you want i can show you the way to the MAKS Airshow.
I will be there 25 and 26 August.
