Well, it was nothing too exciting. I went to an area I used to live, where I built, and sold a few houses. I helped build a few, as well, like the one I posted in the other thread. We played guitar, went to a few parties, I took my boat with me, so we could cruise around on the lake. It was a relaxing time. Smoked a few fatties. Had a few beers,( in my regular life I don't drink), and generally, just laid around. Was a nice break. Winter is the best though, I get lots of personal time in the winter. |

Sounds good, BC. We used to go up north. My husband's granma has a cottage on the lake Joseph ( Maskoka ), but unfortunately, there was no time to go up there this summer.
This cottage was purchased fifty years ago; back then it was a wild place with wild animals. You should see it now...Every house is unique. We used to take a boat and just cruise around the lakes, staring at people's cottages. We are the only family who doesn't have a plane. Our neighbour has a beautiful blue airplane; he usually takes kids over to get some ice-cream in town. Nice.
It's sad though. Beautiful place like Maskoka turned into a real estate kingdome. It's all about money. Nature can wait... |

That's a nice area, except for the blackflies. I was born in Sudbury, and most of my family comes from Manitoulin Island, in Georgian Bay. I am very familiar with the Muskoka area .
I have a friend who's selling his plane, if you guys want to keep up with the Jones'. He only wants 100 grand. It's shiny aluminum, but you can paint it blue. 
You're from Sochi, right? Is that a heavily forested area? Lots of mountains? What did you do for fun when you were there, in the winter? |
