I'm interested in traveling the Trans Siberian and was wondering if anyone has any input on whether to travel via the BAM? Please share any and all experience, advice, comments, etc.

Surfguy,
There's a book (not LP) about the BAM. Same company that publishes Bryn Thomas' Trans-Siberian Handbook. I had a leaf through it a while (3 years?) ago and it had lots 'n' lots of info.

Ahem, you could also check The Man_In_Seat61 or Everbrites stuff over at *cough* the thorntree on LP.
