Hello!
I am new here, but I really need you help... will anybody be so kind?

Dear Vadim,

I have seen your posts on Way to Russia Talk Lounge and I have found very interesting and useful info that you shared with Tom Geens and WayToRussia.
A friend of me and I are planning to do something like that but the converse thing, I mean, we want to go from Vladivostok to Alaska, by passing only by the completely necessary cities or towns in Russia. Maybe we choose Moscow-Anadyr instead… if we save some time and there is hotel available.

Our main purpose is to walk at least a small track of the Straight of Bering, and then, by other means of transportation (snow-bikes, all-roads vehicles), reach some place from where we can go to an airport i.e. Nome or Anchorage, and then fly to Los Angeles.

Do we need to go Vladivostok-Magadan-Anadyr-Provideniya-Alaska? Where to in Alaska?
Are there any other alternatives (shorter, more practical, nicer…) to cross through Bering?

Since there are no hotels in Provideniya, how much time do you think we need for our trip? In our case, the faster the better!
July is the best time to do it, but how cold are the temperatures then?

Chukotka permission: how do we get it? What is Governor Abramovich contact, e-mail…?

Any idea of trip costs: air and ground transportation, beds and maintenance, other expenses… ?

Most appreciated
