Take a look at this article: http://exile.ru/field_guide.html

I think it gives a fairly common view of the Russian habitat, although too gloomy at times. I think they should add more "progressivny" people...

Do you have any other species in mind that you met on your trips to Russia who could be added to their list there?

That was hilarious.

I went to examine the rest of the site and the club section was different in negative way. It seem to say that every bar had women for sale.

That's funny. I realized the lack of that kind of man/woman who spent a lot of time in bookshops, coffeshops and intelectual movies (Bergman, Tarkovsky, Ozo, Antonioni). Long hair, beard (guys, off course), old jeans, t-shirt, slippers or sandals, military jacket (sometimes a leather jacket), bag (with books of zen-buddism or Paul Auster or Garcia Marquez), small glasses. Where are they in Moscow?
Have a nice week end, Dmitri. Take care with cold weather.

Yes, castilho, I agree this is common species in Moscow. They usually habitate OGI club-cafe, DOM cultural center, and Jagannath restaurant.

There's also another popular species: "Homo Progressivus". It's a highly westernized species and quite smart too, usually young. Habitate clubs like Propaganda, Kitaisky Letchik, at times Kult.
