nuttig aan uw kant van het land. Wij zullen velen "Frenchies" spoedig
Sorry for the edits. My Dutch is not so good either. |
Switching to English now...all of this Dutch is hurting my head! I am trying not to use the translator, but alas I find myself looking up most of your last message.
I apologize to Rick for my butchering of his language!
Anyway, lots of people here go to Mexico during the winter...I don't think it's just a Quebecois thing. I have yet to make it "south of the border". Someday...maybe. Mexico is not really on my list.
My friend tells me that they have a Turkish community in NYC, where she lives, but I have yet to see this for myself. Next time I am in NYC, I will investigate. I have talked to Turks online but I have never met one in person. I, personally, find the Turkish language very easy to learn; but their grammar makes me want to jump out the nearest window! It's very hard!
Inşallah (God willing in Turkish), one day I will understand it!
Chinese looks very difficult but I am up for the challenge. So far they are only offering Mandarin I. I will probably only take it for this year...unless they add Mandarin II. If they don't add it, I will go back to taking French for the rest of High School. I plan on buying a phrasebook before school starts...I think it might be very helpful! |

Melissa,
Here is a picture of the "other woman", in case you were wondering what she looks like...you know, what your competition is.
She looks really fly in that fur coat. |

I hope to someday visit Turkey some day too. Just looking at pictures of Istanbul strikes a feeling of awe in me:
You seem very well traveled, surfguy. Can you PM me the list of places you have been? I like to compare with people... |

| Cool. From pictures I have seen of her, she looks very glamorous, as apposed to our First Lady. Why is Laura always in those pants suits?! Maybe that's how Mr. Bush likes his lady to dress... |

| Laura Bush has been photographed in lots of dresses and is a very classy and attractive woman...most people will not argue this...the daughters are attractive too...unlike chelsea. |
